PV Express - Fast, Flexible and Affordable Anti-Reflective Coating for Spectacle Lenses
The PV Express Anti-Reflective Coating System is designed to not only satisfy the smaller laboratory, but also the larger laboratory wanting to provide a faster or specialised, small run, coating service. The aim is to add an additional revenue stream to your business and/or provide a quicker service.
However, fast coating times are not achieved at the expense of quality which compares favourably with results from the larger box coaters but with the complexities removed.
Speed alone is not enough and the PV Express offers ease of use for the operator with low maintenance and service costs.
Control is simple and accessed via a touch screen, virtually eliminating the possibility of operator error. Up to 6 lenses are placed into the carrier and simply loaded into the dedicated load lock system. It is this innovative load lock system which is key to the speed of the PV Express. The operator selects ‘start’ and the fully automatic process begins. 15 minutes later the operator is informed the lenses are coated and ready for removal from the system.
The size, cost, ease of use and ease of installation of the PV Express, provides some exciting opportunities to any coating facility from large labs to retail outlets.
